Our History
Rage Broadheads® was founded in 2006 by a team of passionate hunters and archery enthusiasts who were dissatisfied with the broadheads on the market. We knew there had to be a better way to improve penetration and cause massive blood loss on big game animals.
After years of testing and tweaking designs, we introduced the original Rage 2-Blade 100 grain broadhead in 2007 at the Archery Trade Association Show. It featured a huge 2” cutting diameter from its two massive blades that deploy upon impact.
The response from hunters was immediate and overwhelming. They had never seen a broadhead that could penetrate and cut like the Rage 2-blade. It was truly revolutionary and set a new standard for lethal broadheads.
Since that first product, we have continued to innovate and expand our broadhead offerings. We introduced the Chisel Tip 2-blade in 2008 and the Hypodermic line in 2010 with its unique concaved tip to shear through bone and tissue.
In 2012, we unveiled the next evolution in premium broadheads with the Rage X-Treme. Its rear-deploying blades and sweptback main blade achieved unparalleled penetration on big game.
Our broadhead engineers are always looking to push the limits of lethal technology even further. This drive led to the creation of the SlipCam expandable broadhead system in 2016. The SlipCam uses sliding tabs to control blade deployment upon impact for maximum penetration.
Today, Rage Broadheads® offers an extensive lineup of broadheads for crossbows and compound bow setups. Our reputation for power, accuracy, and devastation is unmatched. We field test and fine tune each design extensively before it earns the Rage name.
Our Facility
We take great pride in the fact that Rage Broadheads® are 100% made in the USA. Our state-of-the-art facility in Ada, Michigan houses our office, manufacturing, and distribution operations.
Being completely based in the USA gives us much greater quality control over every step of the production process. We can closely monitor and refine our machining, grinders, polishing, and assembly to ensure our exacting standards are met.
Our passionate staff in Michigan includes experienced hunters, anglers, and archers. They know our products inside and out. The hands-on expertise of our team is a key advantage for understanding exactly what hunters need for success.
