Our History
Rage Broadheads was founded in 2007 with a simple but ambitious goal: to build the world’s best mechanical broadhead. As avid bowhunters, we were frustrated with the performance and reliability issues of broadheads at the time. We knew there had to be a better way.
After extensive research, field testing, and refining prototypes, we finally created a broadhead that lived up to our lofty expectations. The result was the original Rage 2-Blade, which set a new standard for accuracy, penetration, and lethal wound channels.
News of this innovative new broadhead spread quickly in the bowhunting community. Hunters immediately saw the advantage that Rage’s cut-on-contact stainless steel blades provided. The unique Shock Collar blade retention system also proved far more reliable than O-ring systems used by other mechanical heads.
Our company motto “The Deadliest Broadhead in the Woods” was quickly validated by successful hunters across North America. Rage broadheads were responsible for hundreds of whitetails, elk, and other big game animals humanely harvested in the first years after launch.
Spurred on by this success, our engineering team continued improving and expanding the Rage lineup. Over the next decade, we introduced broadheads like the Rage 3-Blade, Rage Hypodermic, Rage Chisel Tip, and others. Rage also became one of the first companies to offer dedicated crossbow broadheads engineered for the demands of modern high-powered crossbows.

Our Facility
Rage Broadheads are proudly designed, engineered, and manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Superior, Wisconsin. Located on the south shore of Lake Superior, this facility houses our executive offices, product design department, manufacturing center, and warehouse and fulfillment operations all under one roof.
Our in-house team handles every aspect of creating Rage Broadheads from initial concepts to packaged product shipping out our doors. This direct oversight and control allows us to maintain the strictest standards of quality on every broadhead that bears the Rage name. It also enables rapid implementation of new innovations in materials, coatings, and blade technology.
Our manufacturing team meticulously machines and grinds each Rage broadhead component from premium grade tool steel. We insist on American-made steel to guarantee tight tolerances and consistency throughout production. Every weld, edge, and surface is precisely controlled to ensure perfect head alignment and flawless flight.
Before leaving the facility, every Rage broadhead undergoes final quality control checks. Our QA experts examine the finished heads for proper construction, sharpness, and surface finishes. Broadheads that pass this inspection are packaged alongside our written unconditional lifetime warranty. Those that don’t pass are rejected.
